Orono Police Reserves - The Orono Police Department Reserve Officer Program is a volunteer opportunity for community members interested in assisting the Police Department. New Reserve officers attend 10 evening sessions sponsored by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, and receive additional field training through the department.

Our Reserves are dedicated to the community and are an indispensable component of the Police Department. Our Reserves assist in:
Traffic control
Patrol Assistance
Special Events
Vacation Home Checks
— Police Ride-Alongs
